Musical Concepts was founded in 1984 by Bishop Michael Bent, pianist
and Dr.Jane Bent, flutist. The focus is on publishing
music for flute and piano transcribed from the repertoire of other
instruments. They have also published The Church Flutist which
is a set of 50 flute obbligatos for well-known hymns and
carols. The right hand finger position corrector shown below
was invented by Mrs. Bent and is in use nationally. |
