Several years ago, before the wide spread use of digital
cameras, I got lucky enough to get a panoramic shot of some of the mares
running after a snow fall. I love snow….I
love the quiet and the sereneness it brings.
But, mainly I love it because in Arkansas it tends
to melt the next day! That Christmas this photograph was featured on
our Christmas cards. What started out as
a pretty picture of horses running in the snow has turned into a Christmas card
tradition. I
have tried to feature that particular year’s foals on each card. Below are scans of the cards. Here’s hoping you enjoy them until next
