Advance reservations are preferred. For a reservation to be confirmed a deposit for one night must be received within seven (7) days of the phone or E_mail reservation. Personal checks, travelers checks, Visa or Mastercard are accepted. POLICIES -

For the comfort of all our guests, we are a nonsmoking Bed and Breakfast. Pets are not permitted. Children are welcome.

Cancellations and Refunds. Deposits are fully refundable when a cancellation is received seven (7) days prior to the first day of the reservation. If a cancellation is received on shorter notice, your deposit may either be applied to a future reservation or refunded in the event your suite is re-booked.

Arrival and Departure Times. Guests will be received in The Studio Gallery on the first level. Check-in begins no earlier than 3:00 pm to allow an adequate amount of time to prepare for your stay. Please plan to arrive no later than 9:00 pm. Check out time is by 11:00 am. Guests who can not comply with these time requirements must make prior arrangements with Linda.

Location/Directions. Emmitsburg exits are located 22 miles north of Frederick, Maryland on US 15 or 10 miles south of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on US 15.

Stay as long as you like to get to know Emmitsburg's Grotto, Mother Seton Shrine, the National Emergency Training Center and National Fire Academy, Mount Saint Mary's College and the Emmitsburg Antique Mall with over 130 dealers.

Visit Frederick's charming historic district, Gettysburg, PA, Catoctin Mountain Park, Ski Liberty (golf and downhill skiing), and Cunningham Falls with its 78' waterfall, lake fishing, swiming and canoeing.

Direct routes to Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, DC - each less than 1.5 hours away.
