When Paw Paw, Mee Maw,
Tater, and Odie first got into ferret stuff on the Internet, the FFOFF and
their Mama were the first great-good friends they found.
So....
It is our pleasure to give other folks a chance to get to know
them too.
Here's the FFOFF as told and
photographed by their Mama:
We will
start with my little girl...Chloe...she is an albino, and is five years old
and is deaf and weighs 1.7 lbs. She is the "boss lady" of the crew and she
is the keeper of ALL THE TOYS which I think she thinks are her "babies"!!!
She is the loudest dooker and gives the most kisses and can really do the
weasel wardance or I call it "The Michael Jackson Slide"!! (backwards at
that)
Then there's Beavis....he is a silvermitt, is about four years old
(not sure)...is a BIG GUY and weighs 3.4 lbs. He would like to be the "King
of the Bunch" but he and Chloe are constantly challenging each other for
top ferret and she usually wins!!!!! His most favorite thing to
do is lie on his back in his hammock with all four feet in the air and look
cute!!!! (which he does) His favorite toy is a big turkey leg (dog toy) that
he hides from all the other ferts. When one of them finds it, he hides it
somewhere else!!! Never the same place twice. He is a real
sweetie!!
Now we come to Bubba....he is a siamese, is 17 months old and weighs
in at 3.6 lbs (has trimmed down some lately). He is the lover of the bunch....he
is constantly grooming all the others and he is the ONLY one that Chloe will
play with without getting into a fight!! He loves to be cradled in your arms
like a baby and sung to!!! He LOVES THAT!!! Even my singing!! His favorite
thing to do is "ride the towel" down the hall and eat "Pounce" treats when
it is bed time!!!! And of course he goes crazy when it is time to make the
bed....but of course they all love that!!!!!!
Last but certainly not least is my "BABY" Kodee Possum, who is the
most precious Panda/Sablemix; he weighs 2.6 lbs and is sort of a short little
fert. He has tried to claim about five of Chloe's "babies" for his own and
they are constantly taking them back and forth from one another's hidey holes.
Kodee always puts them in a drawer under our television stand and Chloe will
go there and get them out and take them and put them UNDER our bed....where
her hidey place is!!!
It is
a constant battle for the two of them but of course is the cutest thing to
watch for the human's!!!! Of course, I have purchased toy's just for him,
but he still goes back and get's HER toy's!! (babies) He also loves to run
back and forth through the 10 foot plastic pipe that run's down the middle
of the hall or any other place we can find to stick it!!!! I have had both
Kodee and Bubba since they were six weeks old, so of course they are "my
babies" and always will be I reckon.
Chloe and Beavis were given to me when they were adult ferrets, but
I love them just as much!!
They have their own "big" doll house that they fill with many prized
possessions they claim for themselves and we will often find them all curled
up in one of the rooms in the house sound asleep!!! It is too
cute!!!!!
So, there you have it (them), Tater and
Odie's bestest friends in the world. They live in an FFZ (ferret free zone)
so we can't give out their e-mail address right now. You can go back to my

your letters to them.
