YOU CAME TO THE RIGHT PLACE.

The focus of Workplace Violence 101 is internal violence - terrorism from within the organization. It was borne out of reality and my own personal experience as a crisis communicator and negotiator. It is the creation of decades of experience dealing with people in crisis and resolving situations that had potentially deadly consequences.

Workplace Violence 101 departs from the traditional manner in which workplace violence prevention has been taught. Our training is based on the proposition that “managers and supervisors are the eyes and ears of every organization”. As your first line of defense, these key employees must be trained to recognize and assess situations that might lead to violence and take appropriate action to prevent it. To be effective, they must possess five core competencies on workplace violence awareness and prevention.

Workplace Violence 101 teaches those competencies in addition to providing your managers and supervisors with the most useful list of “warning signs” available to date. Additionally, the half-day format assists agencies in scheduling training for large or around-the-clock operations.

Whether your inquiry into workplace violence was out of a desire to protect a fellow human being or simply a quest for knowledge, you visited this site for noble, honorable and humane reasons. You have taken a big step and I thank you for that.
