II spent two nights at Lassen Volcanic
National Park in Northern Ca. this August with a group of good friends
for some serious deep sky observing and imaging. Our observing site
was at 8000 feet. We were blessed with dark steady skies, and were
not bothered by smoke from the various forest fires in Northern
California. Photos were taken with a TeleVue 101 refractor, a Meade
8" SCT with f 6/3 focal reducer, and Olympus OM-1 camera lenses. I
do not apologize for the familiar targets!
