"Pickup
Games" are informal games that are open to anyone. There
is no age restriction, gender ratio, or cost. There are no set
teams, so you show up, teams are picked, and we play. Aside from
some hard-core playing, this is a great way for those new to the
sport to come get some tips form our pro's. Please bring a light
& dark shirt for team differentiation.
If
you have a pickup spot that is used on a regular basis, let
us know and we will post it. Also - please use the E-Mail
Discussion list as a way to set up games. If we get
in the habit of checking our e-mail, it's not hard to send out
a "the weather is nice, be at McDowell at 6"
e-mail and round up some players. Also - try to get the phone
numbers of people at pickup so you can call around and get games
started.
