Our History

Abundant Life Ministries, Inc. (ALMS) is a Washington D.C. based non-denominational ministry established in 1987 under the leadership and of Bishop Myles Spires. The first church was established by ALMS in Washington D.C. in 1990. Through this ministry, countless souls have come to Christ and been restored through an aggressive apostolic approach.
In 1995, the ALMS focus turned to the foreign missions fields. Since that time, works have been established and aided in Costa Rica, Mexico, and Ghana West Africa.
With a down to earth approach in ministry, ALMS has been able to reach out to people from all walks of life. Drug addicts have been delivered, the sick have been healed and many other miracles have been wrought. This ministry has been blessed to produce effective teaching guides, books, tapes, newsletters, retreats, seminars, and conferences to further the gospel message.

ALMS is dedicated to taking the gospel to all parts of the world. Currently efforts in Ghana West Africa are proving to yield a mighty harvest to the Body of Christ. Everyday more and more lives are touched as we go into the homes and lives of those seeking life and that more abundantly. Our mission is to provide salvation to the whole man. Mind, body, and spirit.
Through aiding in the development of the country on all plains including economics, feeding, education, and spiritual advancement, ALMS is making a difference.

Ministry in Mexico!
One of the first international outreaches embarked upon by ALMS, Mexico was just one example of how the gospel can be spread with signs following and miracles abounding. We look forward to our efforts continuing throughout Latin America as we preach and teach Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the Living God!
