In 3rd or 4th seat, 11+-15 HCP, no 4+ major.
1 D ! Catch-All: 11-15 HCP, no 5+ major. (Doesn't promise ANY diamonds.)

In 3rd seat, may be 4+ suit with 8-12 HCP, lead directing.
4 C ! Namyats: 7 or 8 solid hearts, 5 losers. Normally AKQxxxx with side A or K, or AKJxxxxx.

Preemptive Hands (normally no more than 10 HCP)
2 C !, 2 D, 2 H, 2 S 5-10 HCP, natural, 6+ suit if vulnerable, 5+ non-vul.
3 C, 3 D,
3 H, 3 S
Preemptive, natural, normally a 7-card suit. Law of 2-3-4, normally.
3 NT ! Weak Minor Preempt: Preemptive, normally an 8-card minor.
4 H !, 4 S ! To play. (Weaker than Namyats, or a less-than-solid suit.)
4 NT ! Super minor preempt, a little too good for 5 C or 5 D.
(Responses in minors are pass-or-correct; 5 H/S is choice-of-slams force; 5 NT GSF.)
5 C, 5 D To play. (A freakishly long suit.)
