"Beneath the surface, lies the future" was the intro line for the first season of SeaQuest, and it has been refined by fans of Nathan Bridger and Kristen Westphalen into "Beneath the surface, lies romance." I must say, I like that better!

      Below are some pictures celebrating this dynamic, romantic couple. Their chemistry and comfort with each other was evident from the pilot and it was truly a shame that it couldn't have continued through the entire run of the series. But then, that's what fanfiction is for, right? Hopefully some of that will be posted here eventually.
