Why Me Lord?

Did no one else hear your call?

        Who will feed your sheep?

Am I the only one after all?

        Oh how you must weep.

        Oh Lord, why me?

        Where are the saints?

        There should be such glee.

Instead there are so many complaints.

        Oh Lord, why me?

        Where are the prophets today?

        You've set their souls free.

But, Satan has led them astray.

        Who will feed your sheep?

        Ezekiel 34: 11.12

This is what the Lord God says:

I, myself, will search for my sheep

        and take care of them.

As a shepherd takes care of

his scattered flock when it is found,

I will take care of my sheep.

I will save them from all the places

where they were scattered on a

        cloudy and dark day.

        John 10: 7-11

So Jesus said again,"I tell you the truth,

I am the door for the sheep.

All of the people who came before me

        were thieves and robbers.

The sheep did not listen to them.

        I am the door,

and the person who enters through me

will be saved and will be able

to come in and go out and find pasture.

        A thief comes to steal

        and kill and destroy,

but I came to give life,

        life in all it's fullness.

        I am the good shepherd.

The good shepherd gives his life

        for the sheep.

        John 10: 14.15

        I am the good shepherd.

        I know my sheep,

        as the Father knows me.

        And my sheep know me,

        as I know the Father.

I give my life for the sheep.

        Matthew 18: 10-14

        Be careful. Don't think these

little children are worth nothing.  I

tell you that they have angels

        in heaven who are always

        with my Father in heaven.

If a man has a hundred sheep

but one of the sheep gets lost,

he will leave the other ninety-nine

on the hill and go to look for the

lost sheep. I tell you the truth,

he is happier about that one

        sheep than about the ninety-nine

        that were never lost.

        In the same way,

        your Father in heaven

does not want any of these

        little children to be lost.
