Hello my name is Jason, I'm a professional firefighter in central Iowa, married with three beautiful kids.

Basically all of my hobbies include the outdoors, fall will find me out in the woods with a bow chasing whitetail deer, and out in the fields chasing pheasants.  Winter usually causes cabin fever within days if there's nothing to hunt.  But spring finally comes along and it's time to chase the wild turkey and start fishing. Summer it's bowfishing and catfishing and back to preparing for bow season.

When I'm not out chasing something I'm either working or playing with family.  Luckily my family likes to do alot of the same things I do. Devin and Meesha both like to go hunting or fishing with me. And they are both starting to get into archery and enjoy it much.  Dionne enjoys tagging along with me for pheasant hunting and the occassional fishing trip.

Both it and my journal page are new this year.  The journal page has all of my hunts from fall 2000, plus pictures of friends successful hunts, to include one really nice buck scoring 186 1/8.
