I like this.If you could update stockings daily Like they do at Elkins On the Hot line , That would be excellent. Also a stream condition report would be of great use.Sometimes a 2 hour drive leads to disapointment When you find a stream high & muddy. Keep it up & Good Fishing!!

Love the challenge of trout fishing, but since moving from central WV to the eastern panhandle, just can't get into it here. After fishing the wild running rivers, the small creeks that are stocked here just do not hold the appeal.

Native trout are rare commodities that should not be exploited. They are small fish (9inchers are monsters) that should be left alone to the people that over the years of relentless searching found a small number of these fiesty critters to enjoy.

ditto" - Killer Web Site. Fly fishing WV is now my passion. However, many of the Powerbaiters (and some fly fisherman) are becoming increasingly rude. It used to be that if someone was in a pool, another would get out of the water and go around that hole, respecting the guy who got there first. What's going on in WV is going to lead to fights soon I'm afraid. Let's respect each other's right to have a small section of a stream to ourselves.

I think that the stocking reports should not be advertised, or the area stocked should be closed for 24 to 48 hours. Stock truck following should be prohibited and inforced. This would promote the true sport of fishing and would draw more people into the sport as they may feel that there chances are better knowing that the fish hadn't been slaughtered by the lazy fisherman.
