All about FIST
F.I.S.T. (Females Investigating Sexual Terrain) is a social and educational club for women interested in BDSM, leather and fetish between women. Membership is open to all women 21 years of age or older. Members must respect each other's right to be as out or as private as they choose to be.
Meetings and FIST-sanctioned activities may be attended by all interested women, however, some meetings or demonstrations may be closed to non-members. FIST does not discriminate against race, religion, creed or sexual orientation. FIST welcomes ideas, event dates, and announcements from like-minded organizations.

SM101
SM 101 is a FIST meeting held to introduce and educate women interested in learning more about leather and SM. It is open to all women over 21. Newcomers are encouraged to attend and ask questions. The meeting is held by the Pledgemaster of FIST, and other charter members.
Dress is casual--you may wear jeans or leather. A $10 donation is requested, but not mandatory.

Membership
FIST members attend monthly meetings where various BDSM topics are discussed. In addition, we hold a monthly brunch and usually attend a play party or two. We often attend other leather events as a group.
There are three levels of membership to FIST: Pledge, Full and Associate.

Pledge
To become a pledge member of FIST, you must attend a FIST meeting and inform the Pledgemaster or a board member that you wish to join.

Full Member
To become a full member of FIST, you must:
be a pledge for 90 days
be interviewed by the board
attend an SM101 meeting
contribute time to two FIST events (such as a bar night)
attend a minimum of six FIST meetings per year
Full membership fee is $30 per year. Full membership is limited to women over 21 only.

Associate Member
Associate memberships are available to all women interested in being inactive members of FIST, or full members who are unable to fulfill their attendance requirements. Full members will be contacted if they haven't been heard from in over 3 months, and will be offered Associate membership status.
Associate memberships are also available to men who want to be supportive of FIST. This does not entitle them to attend women-only meetings or events. Associate membership dues are $20 per year. Associate members may not vote or wear full-sized club colors. There is no attendance requirement for Associate members. Associate members will be subject to the same rules as full members, and may have their membership suspended or revoked for violating FIST rules.
