History

Unlike other reproductions, this is not just a likeness.  This is Abraham Lincoln.  This signed bust was created using the  original lifemask  (now in the Smithsonian Institute) taken by Leonard Volk in 1860.  The artist who created this bust, did so working with that mask which was given to him in the 1920's by world renowned sculptor Gutzon Borglum (Mt. Rushmore, Military Monument).
Bronze Description

Aside from the notoriety of the original sculptor, the bronze workmanship of this full lifesize bust comes from world renowned French Master Sculptor Claude Boeltz, a student of both Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali.  Claude's sculptures grace the palace's of the Middle East and Europe to the most luxurious of casino's such as the Las Vegas Balagio. 

The bust is created using the lost wax technique.  It has an antique bronze finish and sits on a combination Imported Fossilized Marble and solid Walnut pedestal.  There is a thick felt protector on the underbase.  It weighs 30 lbs and stands an impressive 19 inches tall.

This is a very limited edition of only 250.  A signed, numbered certificate suitable for framing will be issued.

White Description
This lifesize signed bust is created in Plaster.  It comes strongly reinforced with a solid steel core.  The patina is a durable enamel with a satin finish.  It sits on an Imported Fossilized Marble and Solid Walnut base.  The base underside has a thick green felt protector.   It weighs 25 lbs and stands an impressive 19 inches tall.

 This is a limited edition of only 800.  A signed, numbered certificate suitable for framing will be issued.

Bookend Set

An impressive addition to any library or den.  Each bookend weighs 12 lbs, stands 12" high, 6" deep, and is 12" wide at the base.  Constructed of strongly reinforced plaster, they are coated with a durable metal-flake bronze enamel with gold highlighting.  The base and back has a thick green felt protector.  They are signed by the artist.
