The Florida State Pilots' Association is a voluntary organization comprised of all of the individual Florida Pilot Associations serving the State of Florida in its various ports. The FSPA is designed in general to promote good will, provide leadership, coordinate all efforts, and represent member pilot associations on the state level. The FSPA's national counterpart is the Amercian Pilots Association , which represents the pilot associations of some 20 maritime states in very much the same manner.
