We can trace our Scotch-Irish Ancestry back to Magnolia, North Carolina to the year 1813.
Lewis T. Ezzell, my 2nd great grandfather fought and died in the Civil War. He was wounded at Ft. Sumpter, SC, and died two days later. He is buried there at the Magnolia Cemetery in Charleston, South Carolina.
We can trace out family line back to Revolutionary War Times through the Quinn Line. David Quinn was drafted into the militia in Duplin County, N.C. and served until the end of the war. He then settled in Magnolia N.C. and raised his family there.
More recently, the family scattered from North Carolina, moving to Fitzgerald, Georgia, and then to Tennessee.
