OTHER THINGS FROM THE SHOW
  • More evidence was presented to us today proving that Richard Wright is the coolest keeper in the league, and he admitted during Changing Rooms that he's been hammered by his team mates for doing his 'gun finger pointing thing.'
  • Guest Bradford's Ashley Ward said that he hopes to be back from injury next week, and said that their poor season has been due to injuries: 'We don't have a big squad and we've picked up more than our fair share of injuries, but we've got some experienced players coming back soon and I'm sure we'll turn it around then.'
  • Phil Tufnell, the Cat, admitted to having a couple of beers last night and appeared slightly the worse for wear because of it.. he also said: 'I'm doing a bit of punditry at the moment but was a bit disappointed not to be invited out to play in Australia.'  As for his Gooners, he said he was confident about their chances in Europe, but not so much the league, asking: 'What are Chelsea doing there?'
  • Tim, Helen and FA suit-wearing man Ian 'The' Christian conducted the draw for the LDV Vans' Trophy Semi Finals, including fans of the week Bristol City away at Bournemouth.
  • As the Soccer AM team are planning their Christmas Special show, Tim has to decide whether or not Helen should eat fire on the show.  Bearing in mind that it has now become a tradition, Email Soccer AM and let them know if you think she should be fire-eating for us again.
  • Blak Twang - yet another UK hip-hop innovator - was on the show, and said that he's also known as Taipanic and Tony Rotten.  He claimed that he was a very good player - but didn't have the stamina to become professional, but reckons he'd be the solution to England's problems as he is a left winger.
  • New keeper for Can He Kick It, Oliver Kahn't, faced a penalty from Phil Tufnell which the Cat scored.  Referee Dermot Gallagher also named Helen 'Miss Devon - 1942.'
  • Mickey T, on the line from Old Trafford, admitted that he's having problems with his special inks and his new line of business - Euros.
