IPSC classes are held at the range as necessary. The IPSC class instructors are Dale Smith, Brent Sansing, and Rooster Killian. These are three of the most experienced shooters we have in Dixie Shooters. Dale Smith is the fastest man I know with a gun with a first shot from the holster in surrender position in the .6 second range. Brent Sansing in the fastest person to move with a gun. He has a great technique that makes him very smooth in and out of boxes, from position to position. Smooth is fast. Rooster is a great competitor who has attended many schools taught by professional shooters and can pass on what he has learned. The class is held on the range's Tactical Range where courses of fire can be set up and changed around quickly. The class is normally scheduled on a Saturday and starts at 9:00 am. You will need a complete IPSC rig (gun, mags, belt, holster and mag pouches) and 800 rounds of ammo, yes, 800 rounds of ammo. This is a shooting school and you do shoot a lot.
