Freudian Slip Biography

So far in 1999 Freudian Slip has had a repeat performance at The PNC Bank Arts Center - opening for Carlos Santana.  Released a new LIVE CD which is available on line at www.mp3.com/freudianslip and seen the return of original bass player Jim Halsey to the bands lineup after a years hiatus.  Plans continue for a CD of all new original material.

In 1998 F.S. added bassist Kyle DiPietro as well as Saxophone / Flute player Pete Bayonne to the bands lineup, they were joined at several shows by FS drummer Eric's brother drummer Daniel Gonzalez (T.M Stevens drummer -he has to be seen & heard to be believed) together they are a thing of power and beauty! AND performed with The Allman Brothers at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ.  

1997 saw the band reunite, shake off years of rust, tour the West Coast, shoot a video at Hollywood's legendary Whisky a GoGo and release their long awaited self titled debut CD. 

Freudian Slip started in the Princeton, NJ area in 1989.  From '89 - '92 F.S. was performing through out the northeast including shows at The Wetlands in N.Y.C., The Khyber Pass in Philadelphia... performing regularly at Rutgers University, Trenton, The Jersey Shore and Greenwich Village.  In 1990 F.S. moved to Boulder, CO where they lived and performed. 

In '92 singer / guitarist Tom Donovan began performing with Relix recording artists Solar Circus - in '93 keyboardist Jason Crosby joined Solar Circus and together they performed many of F.S.'s songs at over 1,000 shows in 40 different states over the next 5 years -   from NYC's Irving Plaza to The Warfield Theater and just about everywhere in between - while the rest of the boys stayed closer to home performing with a number of different bands in a variety of genres.
