Galva celebrated its Centennial in 1982, but its history dates back to 1871 when the first settlers arrived in this beautiful prairie land.  The pioneer spirit of the early settlers remains today as Galva's town leaders and residents endeavor to maintain a community that is self-supporting and always improving.  We continue to look for opportunities for business, industry, recreational and residential development to enhance our community.
