Small Green House - Sometimes our kids take on surprising interests that really inspire us to do unusual things. When our daughter started to show an interest in nature we decided that it was time for her to have her own little garden. After she demonstrated that she has a green thumb we knew that it was time to invest in a small green house for her needs.
I never thought that we would ever own a small greenhouse but I look out of my kitchen window and look at it every morning. The small green house is a great tool for teaching as well as learning. Ironically, I think that my child is doing more of the teaching and I am doing most of the learning.
At first we were a little apprehensive about purchasing a greenhouse for our yard. I was afraid that the item was going to be too overwhelming and I was really afraid that it was going to be difficult to erect. The expense of the small greenhouse was another factor that had me a little stressed out.
However, our daughter demonstrated such an interest in plants and flowers that we thought that we would test things out. After she spent one entire summer planting and tending to her very own garden we knew that she found a great interest. When she continued to tend to plants while indoors, we decided that a small green house was in order.
Fortunately, we didn’t have to invest as much money as we originally thought we would. The small greenhouse kits available on the market are very reasonably priced. Even if our daughter grew out of her interest in plants and flowers in a year or two we still would have gotten our money’s worth out of the product.
There are a few options available with the small green house kits and we decided to start really small for our little girl. You can find a portable greenhouse kit that can be moved just about anywhere. This was the perfect option for us because we have a tiny yard. It also was great because it was so very easy to assemble.
We figure that our daughter has taken on a life-long hobby that serves as a great means of learning. I am thrilled that she is so attentive and diligent about working in her small green house. She makes sure to attend to her plants and flowers every day. Soon a bigger greenhouse may be in order but for now the small greenhouse is doing just great.
