
Remarks:
The West Windsor Police Department is investigating a theft by deception case that occurred in the Best Buy store located in the Nassau Park Shopping Center on Saturday May 30th 1998.
The unknown W/F pictured in the attached Best Buy surveillance video still photograph, used stolen identification to open up a charge account to purchase $3,000 worth of computer equipment. The W/F suspect after leaving Best Buy was last seen getting into a small silver car, possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier with white background license plates, driven by a stocky B/M who was approximately 5'10" - 6' tall.
The identification used by the W/F suspect was obtained in a pick pocketing incident that occurred in New York City on Tuesday, April 21st 1998. This same stolen identification was also used to open up similar charge accounts in unknown north Jersey area Sears, Macy's, Fortunoff, Costco and Comp USA stores, where additional fraudulent charges were made.
The suspect was described as being approximately 30 - 35 years old, 5'9" tall, approximately 135 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
