6 PIECE ORCHESTRA

George Carere plays saxophone, clarinet, and flute while leading the Orchestra. His experience as a musician is extensive, touring with many top national acts and bands. George has been a 'first call' reed player (saxes, flutes, clarinets) for many years in the Atlanta area as he has played in the pit for dozens of national touring shows of Broadway productions and circus performances and recording sessions. In addition to his extensive work as a 'side man', George formed the George Carere Orchestra and often uses the group to complete or enhance many of the traveling national acts for which he conducts or coordinates performances.
Billy Degnats has been playing drums with George for the past 15 years. Billy is also an extremely accomplished musician. He has toured with many top national acts and bands.
Danny Smith has been playing guitar and singing with the George Carere Orchestra for the past 9 years. He is a powerful guitarist, covering all conventional styles, and his vocal work adds even more dimension to every performance of the Orchestra.
Paula Harris first brought her dynamic vocal treatment to the band during the summer of 1995. With her distinctive voice and stage presence, she projects a powerful charismatic charm and magnetism that galvanizes the Orchestra's every performance.
Geoff Haydon, the newest member of the Orchestra, is an all-encompassing, accomplished keyboardist. Geoff is a Professor of Music at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
Tim Aucoin rounds out the group on either electric or acoustic bass while singing many of the Sinatra-styled tunes. Tim also teaches music in the Fulton County School System.
