Searching for info on earliest CASTLEMAN's to TN and llinkages to my line of Castlemans, if any -
I believe earliest to be Jacob A. Castleman about 1770 from area around Winchester (Clarke/Frederick County) VA, who died in Davidson County TN in 1803.
Seek linkage from Jacob to
Thomas CASTLEMAN  (Born 1822 somewhere in TN), and or to Thomas' son(s):
David CASTLEMAN (Oct1846-Jul 1920: lived around Gibson County), or
James CASTLEMAN (lived in Crockett County Bells/Alamo), or
Lawrence CASTLEMAN (lived in Obion County).
Jacob A CASTLEMAN was son of Lodwich (Ludwig??) CASTLEMAN, and had at least 10 kids and 2 wives.
