These photos were taken during the 1979 Stormwatch Tour in Pittsburgh, PA by a previously unknown amateur photographer. His identity has been made known to me recently. He writes:
I was told by a friend that my JT pictures were on your website, and I just
checked it out. You have done a very nice job. I am the photographer that
took the pictures. My name is Anthony Grenci and I live in Butler, PA. I
have been trying to figure out who gave them to you but I am at a loss. We
must have some contact in common. It is a very small world.
Also, please explain on your site that they are the property of the
photographer. If you have any doubt about me being the owner please
contact me at this email address.
They were given to me while I was in college after I had seen the tour twice that year, once in Nashville, TN, and then again at was was then the Capital Center outside Washington, D.C. (now the Air Arena). Until now, they remained hidden in a photo album I put together in 1980. I now reveal them to all the Tullophiliacs who may want to see them. feel free to download them and use as you like.
