UPDATED: NEW OCTOBER 1999 NEWS ABOUT GEORGE!!
Finally, we have worked out the glitches of switching to a new computer, and are now ready for regular updates of this page!!! I am busy with college applications and my senior year (hard to believe!!), and so my mom, Betsi, will be taking most of this over. In order to keep all of George's fans happy, and since we've not updated this in so long, we've put in the current activities, and will be going back to update the Stage Biography, Concerts and Reviews sections VERY soon. If any of you have any pictures or stories you'd like up here, feel free to send them to:
Here's the scoop on George now :)))
October
5 - 24th, 1999: Sad but true, George's role here is
now over. I was fortunate enough to see the show twice, and was overwhelmed
with how terrific it was. "The Secret Garden" ran at the North Shore
Music Theatre in Beverly, Mass, and this is one of George's favorite theaters...he
is considered truly a family member of the NSMT family! He played
the lead role of Archibald Craven, and was thrilled and proud to be in
this production. He was able to conquer the intensity and gentleness
of Archie, and his voice was just magnificent. If any of you have
any reviews you'd like to post here, send them on :)))
November
13, 1999: Now that "The Secret Garden" has ended, George
is off to Chicago to perform in a benefit concert (for the Chicago Humanities
Festival X) entitled "After The Ball". This is a concert version
of Noel Coward's "After the Ball", and based on the play "Lady Windemere's
Fan". This is the same concert that he did at the Covent Garden Festival
in London last May, and he will be playing Mr. Hopper. The show is
at 6:00 pm, and is at The Auditorium Theater, 50 East Congress Parkway.
November
15 - 22nd, 1999: The MOST exciting news of the fall,
is that George will finally be recording his first solo CD recording, entitled
"In The Still Of The Night". This will be done in New York City,
and will be produced by John Yap, who also produced "Leading Men Don't
Dance". George describes this as "new" arrangements of Jerome Kern
and Cole Porter classics, and we are anticipating that it will be an album
full of singable, heartwarming songs!! It should be released next
May in conjunction with George's return to the Covent Garden Festival in
London.
December
3 - 23rd, 1999: Once again, after a one year absence,
George will be returning to the North Shore Music Theatre, for its annual
rendition of "The Christmas Carol". He will entice the audiences
with his portrayal of the Ghost of Christmas Present, and tickets are now
available at the box office, 978-922-8500.
Keep tuning
in here for George's new Millenium schedule!!!!!!
February 17 - March 7, 2000: George will once again be doing a European concert...this time in Venice, and it will be called "Lady Be Good." More info soon......
This page is designed for one of today's greatest Broadway and Regional
musical theater stars, George Dvorsky. New information about George

be added soon! Keep tuning in for current and updated news about George
and where you can see him perform. As always, George is extremely busy
with many projects, and one of the MOST exciting is about to officially
