Still quite swamped at work but thought I take a second for a quick update. Picked up some newbies that I absolutely love (see Featured), and was happy that collector Josh from the Chicago area paid me a visit the other day. It was nice seeing you Josh.

Positive Affirmations:

Heading out to Spring Training next weekend where I plan on check out a couple local collections. Of course, I'll try to play a little desert golf and see how my Angels are doing with their six outfielders. You need to venture out to Phoenix some Spring ... it really is a fun, relaxing trip. Of course it would be a little more relaxing if we didn't try to do everything in three days.

As for the local teams, the Stanley Cup Ducks are on a tear, the Lakers are fun to watch again, the Trojan football and Bruin basketball traditions continue, CS Fullerton, SDSU, and Long Beach State college baseball are starting up, and my Angels should at least be competitive. I'm even checking out a Dodger game at the end of the month, that one in the LA Coliseum where over 110 thousand will be in attendance. Because Spring is in the air I may even root for the Dodgers, but it's not easy. It's a little easier that its against the Red Sox which aren't as cute and cuddly as they used to be.

Rants: It's Spring and I picked up some strong Keepers the other day so I'll keep this positive. Bert Blyleven deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, though.
