--The Most Beautiful Horse in The World--

Anthony Mead

Anthony handles all our weanlings and yearlings for futurity and model classes. Anthony has lived here in the Missouri area all his life. Growing up around the American Saddlebred, this guy knows how to pick 'em. Anthony is highly respected and very Well known in the futurity realm, he has taken several young horses to the top, including our own young stallion,Rocky (SHAMROCK'S REFLECTION).This season Anthony will debut our newest addition, COMMANDER CARRIGAN LEE, a double-bred, upper and lower,
3rd line back Wing Commander, a big stout colt with motion to burn.

Hitting level already.... and still barefoot.

(note*** Unfortunately, Commander was injured as a young colt. He will not be able to enter the show ring. He will begin his STALLION life sooner than we had planned. Breeding with this TOTALLY AWESOME guy will begin with the 2002 breeding season.)

Anthony also has taken on the responsibility of training and showing our fabulous 3 year old Gaited mare, Tea & Sympathy.
Together these 2 should be quite a show stopper.
Riding and showing Shamrock's Reflection in the Pleasure classes is another combination to watch for during the 2002 Show Season.
We will not begin gaiting Rocky until next season.
Anthony is a valued Trainer, as well as a trusted Friend and teacher.

MONTY ROBERTS---SAM POWELL, move over guys THIS KID IS OUTSTANDING. Jason has a special way with horses. I would never trust another person breaking my colts after having Jason do such a wonderful job with them. Jason took on the task of taming the wild rodeo queen of the barn, my filly LYRIC. After walking a couple trainers into the corners of her stall, chinchy, and non trusting of trainers..I had arranged for Sam Powell from Tennessee to take on the job of taming and breaking this little filly, 2 weeks before Sam was to arrive here, Jason asked if he could have a go at her. He did and a week and a half later he was in the saddle. If anyone has a problem horse, or just in need of a trusted, knowledgable person to break their colts, just give Jason a holler. Jason will soon begin his apprenticeship as TRAINER, under the watchful eye of Anthony Mead. We felt it was crucial that a promising young person learn the "OLD WAYS" of training American Saddlebreds. Within, there's just too much information & knowledge to let slip away. Best of Luck to you Jason.
Recommendation level.... scale of 1 to 10
I Rate Jason a
+15...... Thanks kiddo.
