Symptoms

Various symptoms that are similar to traditional diagnosis, such as Fibromyalgia,
but are increasingly being proven to be EMF related when compared
as a cluster of symptoms that point to Radiation Exposure from Microwave Frequency

This list of symptoms was compiled from people who live near Cell Phone Towers
and these people do not use cell phones. Cell phone users also experience this but may not realise it.
This is important for cell phone users to review.

HEARING
Often people age and loose their hearing, some have a ringing in their ears from past activities or occupations, such as military or loud music. World wide there has been reports of strange ringing, but only occurring in particular locations at particular times. In other cases at all times. Not every person hears it but for many that do, they hear it day and night.
The ear can also become very warm and itchy during strong exposures of emf. ( Often the face will be red at the same time)

HEADACHES / PRESSURE
IN the last few years headaches have been more and more common. Often the headache will be accompanied by eye problems and memory problems as listed below, but the key thing that shows that the headache is not a normal headache is the length of time it lasts. It can last for a brief minute and then go away or it can last for hours and hours. This is because the cellular coverage varies depending on the location and number of cellular calls being made. For instance if you were driving and a sudden headache came on, then you are likely near a current cell phone call. If the headache changes and quickly disappears you are likely moving away from the problem, driving away from the cell phone or busy area. If you are at home and this happens, you are likely near a road with many cars that use cell phones at for instance rush hour.

SLEEP - CAN NOT STAY AWAKE

Some people find that they instantly feel tired and drop to sleep.

Tired all the Time
Some find no matter how much sleep they get they are always tired

Cant Get out of Bed
In many cases, people have reported that they had plenty of sleep and could not get the energy to get them selves out of bed. Reports of feeling a strong drain to their system after having over the normal amount of sleep.
As they tried to get up out of bed, the pain increased and they feel back into bed.
Often METAL bed matresses are said to conduct the electromagnetic frequencies, making it stronger. In Vancouver Canada, this complaint was most common in the years 2000 and 2001.

SLEEP - CAN NOT SLEEP
Amazingly enough, the opposite. An increasingly common symptom, around 2AM people find it impossible to sleep and remain awake until 5AM This often happens for weeks. It is partically the continuous ringing from the Tower signals that keep the brain alert. Cell Tower workers begin "Testing the tower signals" on cell phone towers most mornings between 3 AM and 5 AM. This has been confirmed by people that actually do the work and other people that work in the industry.

EYE PROBLEMS

often followed by the Burning sensation.

MUSCLES - JUMPY - Legs Spasm, Neck Spasm, Eye Lid Spasm

Some people have experienced a sudden increase when near computers
ie: the joint moves then "clicks", this occurs over and over.
the joints do not "crack" like one would ofen hear.

CONGESTION - FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS
When entering an area with High EMF level, many have discovered that their nasal passage suddenly becomes congested. Often it is a strange condition as there is no results of any contents leaving when the person has blown their nose.
It is a very dry but congested feeling.
Many suddenly get this when they sit down to a computer, however it can happen anywhere there is a strong Cell Phone Tower.

DRY MOUTH
Often upon the first halfhour of awakening in the morning, there is absolutely no moisture in the mouth. A "cooked" feeling also can accompany this. However this does not just happen in the morning, it can happen suddenly at any time there is a strong signal from a cell phone or tower. One person mentioned that they had 4 glasses of water and was still thirsty, then three other people in the same room stated that they were also fealing the same thing and were all puzzled.

DRY SKIN
When in a strong area, a particular area of the person's skin can have a burning type sensation. Often it occurs in the same spot over and over.
Some have it on the face. Many refer to it as an instant sun burn. Some have received sudden sores on their lower legs and some times the face also.After being around a computer for awhile you may feel that your hands or eyes feel charged or radiated. This also happens from cell phones and towers. In some cases when they are changing the setting on towers one can become so warm and feel that the skin is being cooked and becomes itchy.

MEMORY
Often people find their short term memory is effected by EMF. If they are traveling and pass by a tower, besides the other side effects that take place, their memory goes on pause for a few minutes until they are out of the area. They can still carry on a conversation and drive a car, but remembering fine detail becomes frustrating. This is because the brains "blood brain barrier" is being penetrated by cell phone signals, confusing the brain, causing it to be distracted, and often frustration.

Frustration / Patients
At high cell phone traffic periods, such as 4PM to 8PM, OFTEN people will feel so stressed, so ANGRY that they react to simple issues in a way that causes great alarm. Many Divorces and Car Accidents are caused by these reactions to EMF.

REPRODUCTION
Its been often said that people have lost their sex drive completely.

Millions of people use cellular phones every day, with or without a headset. Despite assurances from phone manufacturers and service providers that cellular phones are safe, the global debates and controversy over the health effects of these products continues. It is important to note the FDA states "There is currently insufficient scientific basis for concluding either that wireless communication technologies are safe or that they pose a risk to millions of users," and no regulatory agency has stated that cell phones are safe.

There have been numerous reported studies* conducted by respected scientists confirming that up to 60 percent of the radiation emitted by a cellular phone penetrates the head and neck of the user (see News Articles & Papers and Links). This increases the temperature of the brain and surrounding tissue and equally as significant, also affects protective biological mechanisms far below what can be measured at the thermal level using current Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) test procedures and standards. SAR standards are used as the basis for determining cellular phone safety worldwide.

These studies* also present irrefutable evidence confirming that increased occurrences of the following symptoms and diseases can be directly attributed to the exposure of cellular phone operating frequencies and output power levels. None of these symptoms or diseases are thermally induced, clearly indicating the SAR standards should not be used as the basis for determining cellular phone safety.

A survey study, using questionnaire, was conducted in 161 students and workers in a French engineering school on
symptoms experienced during use of digital cellular phones.

A significant increase in concentration difficulty (p < 0.05) was reported by users of 1800-MHz (DCS) cellular phones compared to 900-MHz (GSM) phone users. In users of cellular phones, women significantly (p < 0.05) complained more often of sleep disturbance than men.

This sex difference for sleep complaint is not observed between women and men non-users of cellular phone. The use of both cellular phones and VDT significantly (p < 0.05) increased concentration difficulty. Digital cellular phone users also significantly (p < 0.05) more often complained of discomfort, warmth, and picking on the ear during phone conversation in relation with calling duration per day and number of calls per day. The complaint of warmth on the ear might be a signal to users for stopping the call.

Magnetic Field Sensitivity

I get headaches around active computers with open cases. This has been a reality for as long as I've worked with (the larger) computers. When I say I get headaches, I mean really terrible three-day brainbusting headaches from hell. I took some time and reproduced this effect on a great number of occasions. I found that I had aches in my bone marrow and further explored to learn that magnets and even cells caused a similar effect.
This project was inspired by the Oldschool Godbox project. I wanted to have a case which shielded against EMF which I had suspected I was sensitive to. I brought the topic up for research and did some light reading. I discovered that there is such a thing as EM sensitivity, and it has been researched and documented. It is a scientifically provable affliction.
Since learning of EM sensitivity, I did even more experimentation, even to the point of being able to tell, by touch, how much power was left in a cell. I became mindful of my newfound 'superpower' and began to notice similar feelings from basically any large ferrous or magnetically active material. Maybe it's a sensitivity to the disruption in my own magnetic field? Hrm.. well, magnets piss me off to no end.. and little electronic devices are naggingly painful to carry around.
I don't expect to do much on this project.. but it intrigues me, so I'll list it here to maybe I'll work on it sometime in the future. I have always known that I had a seventh sense, but I confirmed that this is a real-world issue.
