I have been collecting Rainbow Toned Morgan Silver Dollars since 1985, the type of toning you see on the following coins resulted from decades of storage within the canvas bags used by the mint. Many mint sealed bags were stored in bank faults and when opened yielded a small number of the most spectacular toned coins ever seen.
