Hello, so you are wondering
about my screen name and Gold Stars? Gold Stars are old motorcycles made by the now defunct BSA company. BSA like
other British manufacturers started out making guns.
BSA stands for Birmingham Small
Arms. The original logo above clearly shows the three crossed rifles. I now have
5 Goldies, a 1954 BB, my modified Clubman's 1957, 1958 X- Jim
Hunter desert racer, a 1960 Gold Star Manx Racer, and a 1963 Catalina, which is
the last year Goldies were made.
Now you know I must be crazy... here it is, 2008 and I have just shipped my Gold Star Manx racer to England (then the I.O.M.), where it was raced in this year's MGP..!! Follow the action and excitement with me.. click here..
