WADASTICK Artists Residency and Cultural Center is a newly formed non-profit organization overseen by a Board of Directors. We are a group of committed individuals who are making tremendous progress developing programs and erecting our first physical structures. We occupy 27 acres of land in the Polar Bridge area of Laurel Hill, in south eastern North Carolina near the South Carolina border.

WADASTICK founders Leon and Michele Dockery used their life savings along with overwhelming community support to build the Cultural Center. They have dedicated their lives to WADASTICK. They use their array of expertise in the arts, construction, education, and community preservation to ensure its success.
