* The absence of a "G" in the Zhodani Language tables makes the printed name of subsector H ("Gaval") an oddity. I prefer to think of it as an archaic usage that has stuck, since there are other VERY old Zdetl words with "G" in them as well. See the CT Zhodani Module for examples.
The revelations of the New Era materials indicate that, in 1110, the Empress Wave will not have QUITE reached this sector (or any other at this site), since it is moving at lightspeed. The Empress Wave IS just about to enter Zhdant, Tienspevnekr, and Ziafrplians at the coreward edge. Since this means that it HAS been passing through Zhodani space for some time (there being another sector, or 100+ lightyears, worth of Consulate to Coreward), the Zhodani certainly know about it, and in fact the adventure in the Zhodani Module had to have passed through it... What this suggests for the true origins of the Wave is good for much speculation...
