Habitat for Cats, a no-kill adoption, trap, neuter, return humane organization

Habitat for Cats is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization rescuing and caring for homeless cats.

Thousands of cats are lost or abandoned each year. These castaway cats live without human contact, scavenging for food and desperate for shelter. In time, they become feral cats and form feral cat colonies. Their numbers increase, even as many of them die slowly of starvation, exposure or disease.

Habitat for Cats (HFC) is dedicated to reducing the number of homeless cats. Our belief is that the humane way to reduce the suffering of these animals is with a major focus on population control.

To accomplish this, we provide trapping, sterilization, veterinary care, shelter, socialization and adoption for many of the abandoned and feral cats located in Southeastern Massachusetts.
