A small tribute to this great actor who appeared in two of my favorite Joan Crawford films, MILDRED PIERCE and FLAMINGO ROAD. A few of his other noir-type films have aired on Turner Classic Movies and are equally as enjoyable as the Crawford films he appeared in, FLAXY MARTIN and DANGER SIGNAL are the two I've seen. He also played well opposite Lana Turner in the Lana/Spencer Tracy film CASS TIMBERLANE. One of Scott's most successful roles was in THE SOUTHERNER, a film which was directed by Jean Renoir.
