Estelle Klasner, a Ph.D. candidate has worked with people with HD and their families for over 12 years. She has been a practishn speech and language pathologist and manager in a chronic care facility specialising in Huntington's disease. She also co-ordinated and implemented a research programme for the Huntington Society of Canada. Estelle has written two practical handbooks and accompanying videotapes which are available from several Huntington's Disease Associations. Currently Estelle is studying with Dr Kathy Yorkston and is investigating the motor, speech, communication and quality of life issues related to Huntington's disease.
