MK-104 Acoustic Minesweeping System

MK-104 acoustic device.

The MK-104 Acoustic Minesweeping System is used to counter acoustic influence mines.   It is a light-weight self-contained submerged acoustic generator.   The sound-producing element causes ducted water flow to cavitate.   It produces a sound which imitates the acoustic signature necessary to detonate this type of influence mine.
