Nontraditional careers are those in which women make up less than 25 percent of the workforce. The pay, benefits and job satisfaction can be much higher than in traditional female occupations. Math at Work: Women in Nontraditional Careers

Although 11 percent of the dentists in the United States are Women, it is a field that more girls and women should consider, according to these four dentists from a variety of dental specialties.
