Who needs an aerofoil?!!
Well the New low cost (£23.95 +p&p) - quick build ‘Delta – Force’ certainly doesn’t. If you are looking at trying something new that is very fast, crash resistant and takes under 4 hours to build, then read on.
Made of corrugated plastic, the 32-inch span model requires no covering (save loads-o-money!), no hinges and very little glue. This intermediate to advanced ability model is very agile, extremely stable and ridiculously fast (wind up the rates and a roll rate of 360° in under ½ a second is achievable!).
Designed for a 25 to hot 40 2-stroke engine, the wing loading is under 16 oz per square foot with an MDS 38 and gives a very impressive dead stick glide. It is great for practicing those low inverted passes! The model really falls into the ARTF category. To keep the all important ‘price’ down, the builder will need to rummage round their workshop for ancillary parts like tank, engine mount, bolts and horns to complete the package.
This model is ideal for when you haven't flown for a few weeks and you are a little rusty. Rather than fly that super £200.00 new model, our customers have reported that they would prefer to throw £25.00 into the air! The model is naturally real fun for general flying as well.
