Coaley Peak nr Dursley

Coaley peak has been taken as a site every year for the last seven years. There were about twelve children two of whom were not attending school. These two lads seemed to find it difficult to get involved. Perhaps one reason for this was that there were lots of  younger children clamouring to use the equipment and this put the older boys off.
Some of the parents came to visit whilst we were teaching and their interest and appreciation made us feel welcome. Unfortunately there was very little wind or sun and our sessions weren't as long as we would have liked. All but one child tryed out the equipment and we were sorry to disappoint them by leaving after only two days.
