The "brain" is a DuKane intercom amplifier, Push-Pull 6V6es with the first (input) stage reworked like a Gibson Skylark. The phase shifter (6SN7) is some sort of developmental tube with the so-called "coin" base. (I don't know where it came from, it just WORKS!)
The speaker is a Jensen P12R that came out of intercom service. (not from the DuKane) It has been broken-in but not abused. A home stereo speaker cabinet was cut down to provide an open-back cabinet, plugged nicely with a pillow. See the first entry in "ADVICE"
This little amp really screams. It has enough of its own tone so there is little difference when the Honker is on "Clean" or "Full Honk".
