Unfortunately I could not be able to chase the shadow of the total solar eclipse of February 26, 1998. When the eclipse chasers were down in Central to Latin America and the Antilles, I was lucky enough to watch it as a partial one (I am a guy of partial solar eclipses!) from my workplace in North Quincy, MA. I will post here a short description of the event eventually. For the moment being I would like to share the pencil drawing I made while observing the eclipse.
Times are Eastern Standard.
