Michael Crichton was born in Chicago in 1942 but grew up in a suburb of New York. Mr. Crichton attended Harvard Medical School to become a doctor. He always had an interest in writing and he wrote "A Case of Need" under a pseudonym Jeffery Hudson. He has also used John Lange as a pseudonym. Michael has written many novels and has won many awards. Michael also directs movies and is the author of the hit TV show "ER". My favorite book is "Jurrasic Park".
