9611.01: Two badly damaged ships hurled deep into the Alpha Quadrant thirty five thousand light years from home combine their resources in order to survive. Components and surviving crew are hurriedly stripped from the failing Federation Galaxy class ship Lakota before she explodes in a fireball in deep black space. The surviving Vorcha class vessel Qob is repaired and a command structure is put in place.

We have lost crew along the way. We have found new crew during unexpected events. We have gained a brief view of home and a renewal of hope.

0408.11: An unexpected intrusion from the future leaves us with a travel device that we use to return home.

0412.21: In an historic joint venture, the Federation and Klingon Council launch the refitted Qob-Lakota. Her mission is to explore far space using the adapted travel device. Unfortunately, the device has been sabatagued by an enemy and malfunctions...

Again, the Qob finds herself stranded in far space, but we have high hopes of repairing the sabotaged piece of junk...
