In early 2002, a group of adoptive parents of children from the Lianyungang orphanage approached us wanting to do something for the children and caregivers. We contacted the director in Lianyungang who requested an industrial air conditioner for the orphanage. We combined funds raised by the families and added Homeland funding to purchase and install the equipment. In November, 2002, the air conditioning unit was installed. the children and caregivers will be a lot more comfortable in the blazing heat next summer!

The children in this orphanage and their caregivers will be much more comfortable during the blazing heat of the summer months in Jiangsu Province. Many thanks to all the Lianyungang adoptive families who donated generously to help make this happen!
