If we could talk with you today these are just some the things we would share with you, about us, Mike and Jackie, to help you to make a confident decision that we will be the best parents for your child.  We have a strong faith that God has lead us to adoption after years of infertility. We are very happy you are considering us to adopt your child.  We know that you may consider many different couples before choosing the one family that will parent your baby but we know that if you take the opportunity to get to know us better you won't be sorry.  

Dear Expectant Mother,

We write this letter with open hearts and open minds as we wait for God or another spiritual force to lead us to our child. Our struggles with infertility lead us to choose adoption as the way to build our family and from the beginning we, along with our entire extended family, have been happy and comfortable with our decision.

We have always believed adoption was a loving choice made by a birthmother. Our adoption journey has only increased the respect and compassion we feel for you. We believe that placing a child for adoption is the most incredible, unselfish act of love that we could ever imagine.  We want you to know that when we are blessed to be chosen as adoptive parents for a precious baby we will honor that loving act forever.  We will honor it first by giving y/our (yours & ours) baby unconditional love for his/her entire life. Second, we will honor this act by extending our love and respect to you his/her FIRST mother.  From the beginning y/our baby will be taught that adoption is a loving choice and that you are a good and loving person.  You will always have the opportunity to be an important and active part of y/our baby's life.  There will never be a need to be secretive or ashamed of adoption.  We will teach y/our child to celebrate the fact that s/he has two families that love him/her.

We know that the decision ahead of you is difficult and given the chance we will do everything in our power to give you the comfort and support to help you come to peace with your decision.
