Slavic Solar Wheel - The Sun was sacred to our ancestors. The spokes of the wheel spin in a clockwise fashion and represent the solar rays. These eight rays stand for the Solstices, Equinoxes and cross-quarter days. Many modern Slavic Reconstructionists have adopted this symbol as a statment of their faith. This design is a variation on ancient Hutsul solar symbolism. Artist: www.amuletsbymerlin.com. This amulet is hand cast in bronze and is one inch in diameter.
