Rescued Horses!

I love happy endings! And thanks to some special people, these horses have second chance at life. A happy ending for them, and their rescuers.

Also, if you have adopted a horse that was pictured on this page, or were the organization that adopted him or her out to a good home, I'd love to post a few updates, maybe a picture or two. So feel free to bombard me with e-mail on how the horse is doing! lol :)

This is Queso. She is approximately 8 years old, 14hh, and at the very least half appy. She is well broke and beginer-safe, and yet she ended up in a Texas feedlot. She literally had days to live before the truck came to bring her to the slaughter house. Luckily, she was adopted in time by a Minnesotan family. After being fostered in Texas until the weather warmed enough for her to make the trip, she arrived in MN on Mother's Day, and is settling in quite nicely.
