He was a veteran of the Civil War and a Member of the Minnesota Legislature.
He was b 1 Feb. 1840 Montreal, Canada.d. 8 Nov. 1915 and is buried in Faribault, MN. The son of John & Isabella (Patterson) HUTCHINSON. This house is located at 305 N.W. Second St. Faribault, MN.and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. John Hutchinson,Jr. filled many positions and always with the credit and to the satisfaction of the community. He incorporated the present Faribault Furniture Company, he was president of the Faribault Roller Mill Co. and vice-president of the Faribault Loan and Insurance Co.
